Thonet MR10 Chairs – Black Leather & Chrome
Thonet MR10 Chairs – Black Leather & Chrome
The Thonet MR10 is one of the most recognizable tubular steel chair designs of the 20th century. This set of three features a chrome-plated cantilever frame with leather seat and backrest. The maker’s label is present.
The floating cantilever structure gives the chair its characteristic lightness and flexibility. The combination of chrome and aged leather creates a strong yet refined look that works beautifully around a dining table or in a studio setting.
Measurements: Width 49 cm; Depth 65 cm; Seat height 42 cm. The chair’s scale and clear profile allow it to work naturally as an individual seating piece in both contemporary and vintage interiors.
The leather shows patina consistent with age, adding depth and character. Structurally solid and stable. Please review all images for details.

Material-aware guidance Care for this piece
Based on the materials stated in this piece’s product information. Vintage finishes vary, so test any product on an inconspicuous area first.
Leather
Dust with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. For marks, use a barely damp cloth and dry immediately. Use only a leather product suitable for the known finish, after a hidden-area test; avoid soaking, household sprays and repeated conditioning.
Chrome and metal
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, use a lightly damp cloth with mild soap and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive pads, metal polish and harsh chemicals; these can remove plating, paint or an established patina.
