Alvar Aalto Custom Artek Wall Shelf

A truly exceptional custom-made Artek wall shelf designed by Alvar Aalto. This is not a standard production piece, but a one of one commissioned shelving system made for a specific interior. Pieces like this almost never come to the market, making it a very special find for a serious collector, architect, gallery, showroom, or design-led interior.

The scale alone makes the shelf impressive, with a total width of approximately 4 metres and a height of 190 cm. The construction features Aalto’s recognizable bentwood bracket system, giving the piece a strong architectural rhythm across the wall. In this size, the shelf becomes more than storage.
